Thank you for you sharing those pictures Naseem. I have been reading your blog for a few years now but this is my first comment.
The pictures you shared envoke a sensation I only get to experience the first day I return to Amman. Jet lagged and emotionally drained, I usually take a walk the first morning after I land in Jordan without the company anyone to clear my head. The smells, the humidity, the crispness of the air, the sounds of a city barely awake… it is an experience that I can seldom express with the right words. Awesome pictures!!! 🙂 thanks again.
@Ziad D: thanks for commenting and following all these years. i’m always interested to see what posts inspire a long-time reader to finally leave a comment. they’re never the posts that i think. i feel with your experience as its one i’ve had many times before. it is, as you said, pretty undefinable.
Lucky you that you get to experience watching the Pink, Yellow, and White (or Beige) hues from Amman’s buildings! I wish I was in Amman right now! Thanks for sharing these beautiful pictures!

Beautiful – I love the quality of light shift through the morning. I wake up early enough to see that too here, and it’s always a treat to witness.
I love the “many faces” and colors of this city. Thanks for these.
this is one of the many reasons why Amman is, to me, one of the greatest and most beautiful cities in the world
ain’t no place as sweet as home 🙂
