  • Despite the intricate politiking taking place on the local scenes in Washington and Tehran, the emergence of Ahmadinejad as a vocal element that is challenging American hegemony at the highest levels is a new paradigm with a precedence setting element (Kim Jug il notwithstanding) post September 11th 2001. As a firm believer in a multipolar world, the rise of a nuclear Iran, if successful, should limit Israel’s terrorism against the Palestinians, control the influence of the corrupt Saudi monarchy, and require more moderate speech writing in the White House.
