Jordan yesterday sent 400 tonnes of food aid to the West Bank and Gaza Strip for the second time in a fortnight amid reports of shortages in the cash-stra-pped Palestinian territories.
State-run Petra news agency said that 25 trucks laden with 400 tonnes of food aid worth $220, case 000 were sent to the Palestinian territories on the express orders of King Abdullah II.
