If anyone noticed, the name was changed. Instead of “Paradise Now from Palestine” it was changed to “Paradise Now from the Palestinian Territories“. I guess I underestimated the Academy of caving to external pressure.
You know, if you’re gonna add more words to the name why’d you skip the word “occupied”?
I was so upset when it lost. BUt, it was nominated and that is a great thing, and lets not forget it won the golden globe đŸ˜‰
I was torn between Paradise Now and Tsotsi, but patriotic fervour soon took hold. Extremely worthy contenders, both of them. and we did miss the Golden Globe đŸ™‚
