A kidnapped Jordanian embassy driver has been released in Baghdad, Jordanian Prime Marouf al-Bakhit said on Tuesday.
The driver, Mahmoud Suleiman Saidat, was abducted Dec. 20 by 15 masked men near his home in Baghdad’s southern Sadiya neighborhood.
Al-Bakhit told the Petra news agency that Saidat “was released after thorough efforts over the past two months and he is in a safe place.”
“We thank God for his release, and we hope he will safely return to his parents, children and family,” al-Bakhit said. [source]
There’s nothing more I can say other than thank God and kudos to the King and government for the effort.
