Just wanted to point people’s attention to a few interesting things flying under the radar these days.
If you haven’t seen it yet, 7iber is continuing an online discussion that unfolded last night, where the Foreign Minister, Nasser Judeh, took live questions from Tweeps. Regardless of one’s politics, the conversation was undeniably interesting.
On Campus magazine’s little initiative, Youth of Change, have launched an interesting project to coincide with International Peace Day (on September 21st). It entails creating a poster that outlines one’s vision for peace and then uploading it to the organization’s Facebook group. The winning poster will be printed in the magazine and the winner gets 50JDs. Frankly, I’m not too crazy about peace, but I do like me some social media and this is a pretty interesting way to bring youth, design, and new media and traditional media together in one go – and it’s youth-led, which I always appreciate. Anyways, deadline is July 25th has been extended to August 25th. So designers, go nuts.
To take a look at what’s been keeping me busy these days, do take the time to follow @7iberINC on Twitter.
