How fast can someone put a book together on President-elect Obama? Well, on the day after Obama won the election, The Guardian created a Flickr group to find a creative way of capturing the victory. The group, which now has over 1,600 members, quickly became a collaborative effort to send various messages to Obama and so The Guardian decided to turn those captured visual moments in to a book that’s now on sale. Imagine that.
This isn’t something you would have seen a few years ago. The thought that hundreds of people can unknowingly collaborate in a short time span and create something this creative and this immediate is pretty fascinating. The way in which the Internet is remixing, creating and producing content in unprecedented ways is something that continues to amaze me.
Here’s a selection of the photos:

This is so Cool.
I stood on street corners for you was the best!
I love it. I wonder if Obama will use the internet as creatively in his presidency as he did during his campaign. And I wonder if there’s a way for all his campaign volunteers to remain involved.
I agree with Nizar, loved that photo about standing on street corners.
Is the new Obama administration going to turn a blind eye to this diabolical and criminal agenda?
