There is really nothing I can say about the events that have transpired in Mumbai. The only reason for this post is for fear that any relative silence from this part of the world be mistaken by the readers of the other side of the world that such a horrific event has gone unacknowledged and un-condemned by the silent majority. In truth, between family, friends and colleagues, Mumbai and Gaza seem to be the talk of the town today, with many shaking heads abound. Two cities, two peoples, two forms of suffering. The world is tragically ironic some times.
From a bird’s eye view, it’s times like these that I wonder if the human race even has the capacity for peace.
