Attention! Calling On Jordanian Bloggers For Some Cyber Activism!

Ok. Well it’s only been four days since I posted this but four days in the virtual world is, like a Hollywood marriage, equal to four months.

Usually the response is more enthusiastic but I blame myself for not having a more enthusiastic post title to begin with (hence the exclamations!), and also Ramadan for bringing out the laziness in us.

So, while I don’t like to be redundant, this is one thing I figure is worth repeating…

The Action Committee is putting together Ramadan/Eid Food packages for the poor.

Donations are coming in but as a Jordanian blogger…

I’m honestly interested to see to what extent we, as bloggers on this humble blogosphere, can have an impact in the real world.

(also, there’s the whole helping-poor-people-eat thing to consider)

So if you’re a blogger, spread the word. Announce it on your blog. It’s just a simple post. You can even copy and paste it. Or heck, just a link. Should take you about 60 seconds tops (depending on your Internet connection!), which is technically less time than it took you to read this entire post.

A couple of bloggers have pitched in, so I’m thankful to them, but…

Let’s establish a precedent.

Let’s play virtual dominoes; activism style!
