Because Polls Are Fun

I’ve decided to start featuring a poll on my blog mainly because I was inspired by a recent post I published here about the Abu-Mahjoob polls. The poll is obviously not meant to be scientific and its purpose is not to act as the basis of any groundbreaking research. It’s there mainly to amuse me and/or my readers. Not all the questions or options are intended to be serious, some will be satircal in order to reflect a current socio-political mood. An example of this is the first question being posed: How will the U.S. react to North Korea’s nuclear test? However at other times I will (attempt to) pose a serious question in order to gauge reaction but mostly because it’s a question I’d like to ask but want to make a post of it. In short, it’s just another way to hear more from the world but at the end of the day they are only numbers and in the eternally wise words of Homer J. Simpson…

“Oh, people can come up with statistics to prove anything, Kent. 14% of people know that.”
