I just downloaded this song (legally) and it sort of conjured up a symphony of exisetential thoughts. First, in a wave of music that is about sex, drugs, pimps and what have you, it’s kind of nice to see a song that actually means something. One of my all time favorite bands, the Goo Goo Dolls, have released the first single entitled Better Days from their upcoming album. This is my song of the week which means between now and next week I will have listened to it about a million times. I transcribed the lyrics which may not be 100%. I have been listening to them since I was in first grade. I still am and always will.
I thank my cousin for ruining the little ponies tape, because if he hadn’t done so I wouldn’t have watched Pop-up video. GooGoo Dolls was my favorite band once I saw it come onto the screen. My sister loves the Goo Goo Dolls also… I guess there really isn’t anything we could hate about them. They never get old, their music is always loved.
I fell in love with the lead singer when I was 7. I think I really love him still the way his heart is the way he sings it. His humor. I love him so much If he proposed to me I would marry him that night. With a fake ring I wouldn’t care. I am 15 but that is how much I love him. My desire is to become a model and let him how I feel. Silly huh? I felt that way for forever. If I could meet him in real life I would just die.
